LIBERTY BLUES CLASS

For all levels. This is a simple but very effective quilt which can be made to any size. Simple pieced bands of strips alternate with a variety of appliqued sections. You can use one pattern or a mix of many. The original quilt has been made with Liberty Tana Lawn and new and recycled fine linens, but there is a second sample made with a combination of patchwork cottons and batiks. The world is your oyster. The applique sections will be started on the first half day class and you will have patterns to take home to assemble several more by the second half day. You will also need to cut some strips at home and assemble at least a few of the stripped sections for the second half day. During the second half day we will discuss which other applique sections may be required and try out several layout with your completed sections. The remainder of the quilt top will be completed at home.
